How do we find balance in our lives both physically and mentally with the end of the year and the end of a decade.?We can find mental balance and equanimity through meditation and mindful asana (yoga poses) practice. Physical balance has three constituent parts: 1) your eyes seeing the horizon 2) the position of your ears as they move through space--vestibular stimulation and 3)proprioception or the feedback loop between our muscles and our nervous system telling us where our body parts are in space.
