I demonstrate the concept of Action and Resistance in a YouTube Video or on my Gekko Yoga FaceBook page. My body uses the opposite muscles of the joint to provide resistance to the movement of the joint. Once again I notice that I am not always clear as "I talk through my nose" (say something that is in my mind and not what is actually happening). In Sumo, the joints are 90/90/90 in relationship to each other. They are 45 degrees in relationship to the horizon. :-) It's a quirk that makes me ME! :-).
