We tend to work from where we are strong to avoid where we are weak. We bend from where we are flexible to avoid where we are stiff. Our practice this week will find balance to strengthen where we are weak and release where we are stiff. We will begin with the Arm Fascia Lines
Fascia is defined by Tom Meyers in Anatomy Trains as: "Fascia is the biological fabric that holds us together, the connective tissue network. You are about 70 trillion cells – neurons, muscle cells, epithelia – all humming in relative harmony; fascia is the 3-D spider web of fibrous, gluey, and wet proteins that binds them all together in their proper placement". Fascia can lose its ability to slide and glide with injury, dehydration and stress. Yoga can help regain that slide and glide.
