Each foot is made up of 26 bones, 30 joints and more than 100 muscles, tendons and ligaments, all of which work together to provide support, balance and mobility.
Major Fascia Lines begin on foot
Lateral Line-Fibularis over ankle to base of 1st metatarsal-over to big toe side
Deep Front Line-joins with Lateral Line + every tarsal except talus + every metatarsal (except 1st)
Superficial Back Line: base of toes on sole
Superficial Front Line: tops of foot along gutters
Spiral Line: around arch of foot
Movements: In total, the ankle allows the foot to move in six different ways: dorsiflexion, (Flexion) plantar flexion, (extension) inversion, (medial side raises up-big toe) eversion, (lateral side raises up-little toe side) and medial and lateral rotation.
