We are all so busy! We get caught up in all of the jobs and errands and expectations that we or other people have for us. Sometimes, the best gift of all is the gift of time. Take the time to sit quietly. Feel the gift of gravity as it holds you firmly with full support. Find your breath and follow the exhale to its completion. Relax your tongue and palate. Sit, ground, relax, breathe. Sit, ground, relax, breath. Give yourself the gift of yoga by the lake in the light spring breeze and dappled sunshine. Listen to the music of the songbirds and the lapping of the waves. It only took me 2 hours today to drive to Picnic Point, park, hike in, lay out my yoga mat, Sit, ground, relax, breathe and then move through a meditation of movement as I flowed through sun salutations, Warrior poses, balances, back bends, forward folds, twists, shoulder stands and then savasana. A gift which was the highlight of my day! Take the time to give your self such a gift. Sit. Ground. Relax.
