Have you ever dreamed of going to India but didn't want to go for one reason or the other...too daunting, too different, strange language, spicy cuisine etc.
My 2019 India Yoga Retreat, by all reviews, was a huge success! and I had 50% of the participants wanting to go again in 2021. Then COVID hit! I delayed it until 2023--next October and November. Did you know that India has a 90% COVID vaccination rate? You have to have a COVID vaccination card (or be tested) upon entry into India as well as between every state. We will be traveling through 4 states during this 3 week Retreat. Participants can choose all of the trip or any of the 3 parts. Trip 1 is the "tourist" part which will include Delhi, Agra and the Taj Mahal, a Bear Rescue, National Bird Refuge, Tiger National Park, Jaipur and a variety of travel and accommodations. We will have our own bus, our own tour guide in addition to my language and cultural familiarity. Trip 2 is the actual Yoga Retreat and is set on the edge of the Might Ganges River as it comes out of the Himilayan Mountains in Rishikesh. You will experience vegan home cooked meals, morning meditation, yoga explanations and practice every day. Afternoons are free to explore Rishikesh, rafting down the Ganges River, reading, sleeping, getting a massage, sight seeing, shopping, and other adventure sports. Most evenings we will gather again for Yin Yoga, Legs up the Wall, Arthi on the Ganges, etc. Trip 3 is a 4-5 day reward up in the first range of the Himilayan Mountains in Mussoorie--the Queen of the Hill Stations--where I went to school for 12 years. We will relax, eat well, explore the hill side, watch the sunrise and sunset with the spectacular "winter line", visit the Tibetan settlement, explore the local bazaar.
