It seems that Knees become more and more a problem as we age--some of us more than others. The knee is a miraculous piece of engineering allowing you to turn, bend, and twist. However, it is basically fairly unstable supporting all of the weight from above on 'stilts' that bends half way up. To support this unstable structure you need to strengthen these supporting structures...Quads, Hamstrings, Adductors, Abductors, Buttock Muscles and more! Most of what we do in our yoga classes support our knees. This week we will concentrate building support for the knee.
