In order for the lower back and sacrum to be 'happy' it needs to be stable, strong and supple. It needs to be supported from the front, the sides and the back itself. Prevention plays an important role with proper ergonomics for lifting, getting in and out of your car, and refraining from too many asymmetrical yoga poses in a row. This is why we often do Sumo or Forward fold between asymmetrical poses.
