1972 I graduated from Woodstock School in the Himalayan Mountains in northern India. My boyfriend, Ravi, and a classmates, Barb (BP), 'hitch hiked' from Kabul ,Afganisthan to London, England (a story for my book)
1974 Ted and I drove from Paris, England to Quetta, Afganisthan and back as we studied archaeological sites of ancient man in Europe and Asia for our 'Senior Year Abroad".
I have driven to and through every state in these United States of America and I have seen probably 75% of the National Parks along the way. But that was then, when we were working and had little time to explore or linger. Now my Bucket List is to drive my Little Guy Mini Max camping trailer to all of the mainland National Parks visiting friends and classmates along the way.
Then my husband, Pete, got sick and it tipped the scale for his 10 year fight with End Stage COPD. We have called in Hospice and I have delayed my trip for 3 weeks for now. So, #wherethehispatriciags ? For now, I am in snowy Madison, Wisconsin taking a different kind of journey than the one that I had planned.
