She lives in the Turtle Rock subdivision on gently rolling hills with broad tree lines boulevards, winding sidewalks through thick lush green landscaping like a long thin park lining each side of the street. Across the street is a lovely park with homes surrounding it. She has taken out all of the grass and put in a drought tolerant garden all around her house. It is lovely. In the center of the house is an enclosed indoor atrium from which 2 bedrooms and the center dining room open on to it--again with drought resistant plantings.
Her home is comfortable, airy with easy access to the outdoors with open doors and windows, providing many views of the gardens. She settled me into one her bedrooms and we had a quick salad for lunch. She has just recenly arrived back from 4 weddings iand a funeral!) in India and then a quick trip up to Seattle to baby sit her grandchildren.
