Your Lateral line give your body stability. It runs from your Big toe and Little Toe to the Fibularis along the side of your leg, up the IT band, your Gluts, side abdominal obliques and then zig-zags up your side ribs up to the side of your neck along the SCM muscle to the occipital ridge. Some of the yoga poses are classically Extended Side Angle, Triangle, Standing Gate, Reverse Warrior, Half Moon along with more playful versions of wag the dog's tail, banana, swimming locust.
